Space Blue Bottle

A real highlight of this years throwing. This space blue bottle is thrown on the wheel in mixed stoneware. It's first pulled high, then bellied out whilst keeping the neck of the vessel nice and narrow.

The glaze gives off beautiful highlights and shimmers as the sun hits the walls of the vessel with light, white patches breaking through the deep blue.
